Privacy Policy

Dog Park is a focus app. We collect the minimum needed to make the app work and nothing else. No analytics. No ad tracking. No third-party data brokers.

What we collect

The app stores most data locally on your device. The exceptions are limited to features that need a server:

What we don't collect

Who can see your data

In-app purchases

If you buy gold packs through the in-app store, Apple processes the transaction. We receive a verification of purchase but never see your payment method, card details, or billing address. Apple's privacy policy covers that transaction.

Children

Dog Park is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 beyond what's necessary for the app to function (Apple-anonymized sign-in and room participation). If you believe a child's data has been collected in error, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Sign Out → Delete Account). This removes your Firebase Auth record and any associated room participation data. Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

If you signed up for the waitlist, you can request deletion by emailing us.

Security

Data in transit uses TLS. Data at rest in Firestore is encrypted by Google. The local SwiftData store on your device is encrypted by iOS when the device is locked.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date at the bottom and, if you're on our waitlist or have signed in, email you. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept it.
